Park to Park 10 Miler

Race Information

Parking and Transportation

Since this is a point-to-point course you will need to determine your best option for getting to and from the start and finish lines. Here are some options:

  • Carpool with other runners. Leave one car at the Denver South High School parking lot and drive to the start with other runners, parking in the lots near the Denver Zoo or the Museum of Nature and Science. This is approximately a 15 to 20 minute drive.
  • Be dropped off near the start at 23rd Ave. and Colorado Blvd. Your driver can then go to the Denver South High School parking lot, park and walk approximately 1/2 mile to the finish to cheer you on at the finish along the diagonal road in the center of Washington Park near Franklin St. and Mississippi Ave.
  • Park between the start and finish. It is roughly 4 miles between those two points. You can do a warm-up run to the start and return to your vehicle following the post-race festivities.
  • For an additional $8 you can reserve a bus ride back to the start. Buses will leave from Denver South High School located at 1700 E. Louisiana Ave., Denver, CO 80210 beginning at 8:30 a.m. Bus reservations must be made by August 30th. Your name will be placed on the bus manifest for return trip verification.

Regardless of where you park, please do not leave valuables visible in your vehicle at anytime.
