Congratulations and thank you to the record 1,144 finishers in the 2009 Aetna Park to Park 10 Miler. 2008 winner Josh Eberly of Gunnison defended his title out kicking Joel Hamilton of Golden. Both runners finished in 51:11. Nan Kennard of Broomfield was the top female finisher in 1:00:33, tying the event record set by Katie Blackett in 2007. 44 year old Evergreen resident Bob Weiner crushed the men’s masters record with a time of 55:01. The previous record was 59:05 set by Todd Straka in 2008. The women’s masters winner was 44 year old Boulderite Dianne Gates who finished in a time of 1:04:32.

WHERE:	23rd Avenue, west of Colorado Boulevard and east of the Denver Zoo. The race starts at 7:00 a.m.
WHY:	Proceeds from the race will benefit the Lorenzen Cancer Foundation in the fight against pancreatic cancer.
